Many old refrigeration equipments need to be updated and replaced with refrigerants. It is very important to check the compatibility of condenser and evaporator equipment before replacement to prevent internal corrosion or performance loss.

Xindacool's standard models FNH,FNV,FNVT,DL,DD and DJ are compatible with R404A,R507A,R134A and R448A. These refrigerants are the most common refrigerants in industrial and commercial projects today.

R22 refrigerant has been eliminated by European environmental regulations, but many old equipments still use it. If you want to reuse the existing condenser and evaporator and replace R22 with low GWP refrigerant, you must check the compatibility of lubricating oil. If the cooling circuit is not thoroughly cleaned, it cannot be replaced directly.

Refrigerant with low global warming potential such as R448A and R449A is a good substitute for transformation. The performance they provide is very close to R404A, but the pressure and overheating parameters need to be adjusted. The safety margin of capacitors should be increased by 8% in size.

Important: Standard condensers and coolers are not compatible with NH3 ammonia. Ammonia causes corrosion in aluminum fins and copper tubes of standard equipment. For ammonia systems, special devices with adaptive materials are needed.

In the renovation project, a common mistake is to keep the old evaporator and condenser without internal inspection, just replace the refrigerant. Dirt inside the pipeline will cause 14% to 20% heat exchange loss, even if new coolant is used.

When renewing the refrigerant, you should also check the expansion valve, dehumidifier filter and compressor oil. Replacing refrigerant without replacing these accessories will lead to premature failure in less than 12 months.

The maximum allowable condensation temperature varies with refrigerant. R134A has low working pressure; R507A has a higher pressure, so it is necessary to check the joint and the joint to prevent leakage.

If the new FNH-FNV-FNVT equipment is combined with the old compressor in renovation, the superheat of DL, DD or DJ evaporators must be adjusted between 5 K and 7 K to protect the old compressor.
