The consequences of cold storage room with low relative humidity and how evaporators DL, DD and DJ affect it.
The control of relative humidity is as important as temperature for the preservation of many foods. Too low humidity will lead to dehydration, weight loss and deterioration of stored goods. The characteristics of DL,DD and DJ evaporators have a direct impact on the humidity level in the refrigerated room.
When air passes through the cold surface of the evaporator, some of its water vapor will condense and become frost or melt water. The greater the temperature difference between indoor air and the surface of evaporator blades, the more water is extracted from the air.
If the evaporator is too large, the temperature difference between indoor air and evaporator will become very large. The equipment can be cooled quickly, but it will remove too much water from the environment, making the relative humidity lower than the recommended value of stored products.
For fresh agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables or unfrozen meat, the relative humidity is required to be between 85-92%. In these cases, DL or DD evaporator with atmospheric flow and low thermal difference should be selected to reduce excessive dehumidification.
On the contrary, for low humidity resistant products, such as frozen finished products, the dehumidification effect is harmless and no special measures are needed.
No attempt should be made to solve the problem of low humidity by adding a humidifier without first checking the evaporator. If the evaporator is too large, it will continuously absorb water from the air, and the humidifier will work continuously with very high energy consumption without solving the root cause.
According to the measurement results of xindacool, the oversized evaporator can make the relative humidity of the camera lower than the target value by 12-18 points. This leads to the loss of the weight of the goods, causing great economic losses year after year.
FNH, FNH,FNV,FNVT condensers will not directly change the humidity in the chamber, but poor condenser performance will change the evaporation conditions, change the thermal difference of the evaporator and change the dehumidification rate.
FAQ
Why does the evaporator reduce the humidity of indoor air? Water vapor condenses on the cold fins and is removed during thawing.
What effect will an over-expanded evaporator have? Large thermal difference, excessive dehumidification and very low relative humidity.
What is the humidity range for keeping fresh fruits and vegetables? 85-92% relative humidity is recommended.
Is it enough to install a humidifier to solve the problem of low humidity? No, first check whether the evaporator is too large, which leads to the root of the problem.
Does the capacitor affect the relative humidity of the camera? Indirectly changing the evaporation conditions and changing the thermal difference of the evaporator.
